GASTONIA CHAPTER

UTAH FRIENDS OF PALEONTOLOGY

UFOP is a statewide non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to preserving Utah's fossil resources through public education and volunteer support of sponsoring institutions.

The recently-formed Gastonia Chapter provides educational meetings, field trips, and volunteer work for paleontological research as well as for the State Paleontologist's office at the Utah Geological Survey.

The Gastonia Chapter has their monthly meetings at Zions Bank, (330 South Main, Moab)  6:00 PM, Downstairs Conference Room, on the last Wednesday of each month (unless otherwise indicated). All talks are free and open to non-members. We encourage the public to come. Please also check the Events page to see additional meetings and events that may be scheduled.
